June 10, 2019 Albion, MI (AMN) — This year will mark the 53 Festival of The Forks celebration in Albion, Michigan. September 20th through 21st this year we will see visitors from far and wide walking the streets of downtown and enjoying our local parks. Visitors will be able to enjoy car shows, animals, carnival rides and booth selling everything from pet treats to candles up and down the bricks of Superior street and nearly every cross street. The Festival of the Forks is a celebration of creativity and diversity that is woven into the fabric of our small town. It’s a time when we can enjoy music, art, science, and truly be one with fellow members of our community. Whether you’re a fan of the petting zoo, carnival rides, food, shows or epic deals from local vendors we hope to see you there. Many lodging opportunities are available within the City of Albion to include the Days Inn by Windham, The Courtyard by Marriott, and the Palmer House Inn Bed & Breakfast. Many fans of the Albion Heritage Bed & Breakfast will be sad to know that they will be closing up shop and retiring after a terrific run and serving our community.
The Festival is named after the forks of the Kalamazoo River’s eastern and southern branches. If you follow the river you will find plenty of parks in Albion in which to relax and enjoy your festival meals before partaking in your next activity. See you in September.
