Festival of The Forks 2021 Food Vendor Application and Information

According to the City of Albion Michigan “This is a great opportunity to spread information about your organization or cause, sell your homemade or resale items, or serve up some delicious treats. Click the button below to download the appropriate form. It can be emailed, faxed, mailed, or dropped off to the Chamber office at 310 S. Superior St.”

Food vendors only:
Food vendors who cook any portion of food on site and/or have to keep food hot or cold are required to have a temporary license along with this Festival of the Forks application. No food licenses issued after September 1, 2021. For additional licensing information, please contact Calhoun County Environmental Health at (269) 969-6341.
▪ Use of electrical roasters, frying pans, and/or Coleman stoves is limited to two (2) per 10’x10’ booth.
▪ Electricity is first come, first served.
▪ Booth requests will be on a first come-first served basis. There is NO guarantee of your location assignment.
▪ No multi-outlet strips. All electrical cords must be taped down.
▪ Port-o-Johns are not food disposal units. Anyone using one for food disposal will be removed from the Festival and fined.

Friday Booth Fees (Early Bird Fees Received by July 31, 2021)
Set up 12;00pm – 2:00 pm; Festival Day 3:00pm – 7:00 pm

Single – 10’x10’ Cost – $40.00

Double – 20’x10’ Cost- $55.00

Triple – 30’x10’ Cost – $70.00

Friday Booth Fees (Regular Fees Received by August 31, 2021)
Set up 12;00pm – 2:00 pm; Festival Day 3:00pm – 7:00 pm

Single – 10’x10′ Cost – $80.00

Double – 20’x10′ Cost $100.00

Triple – 30’x10′ Cost – $120.00

Set up 7:00am -9:30 am; Festival Day 10:00 am – 7:00 pm

Single – 10’x10’ Cost – $70.00

Double – 20’x10’ Cost- $90.00

Show Information & Policies:
▪ Payment is due with application. Application must be received by July 31st for Early Bird rate.
▪ Booth requests will be assigned on a first come-first serve basis. Requests are considered, not guaranteed.
▪ Booth location assignments will be provided by September 6, 2021.
▪ Each vendor must supply their own booth equipment, tables, chairs, and power cords.
▪ Each vendor must exhibit, oversee, and remove his/her own materials.
▪ This is an outdoor event. Please come prepared for the weather conditions.
▪ Set up hours for Friday: 12-2 pm
▪ Set up hours for Saturday: 7-9:30 am
▪ There is no late admittance for vendors not set up by Friday @ 2 pm and Saturday @ 9 am.
▪ Vendor must remain at Festival until close at 7 PM
▪ Vendors will enter the Festival at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Superior Street
▪ Vendors MUST exhibit until close of show, 7 PM, unless booth location is on a side street. Failure to observe this rule may ban vendors from participating in future festivals.
▪ Cancellation: There is a 25% cancellation fee if applicant cancels after July 31st.
▪ The festival is subject to local, state, and federal orders and recommendations.

Agreement
I hereby agree to the terms set forth in this application. I agree that the City of Albion, Greater Albion Chamber of Commerce, the Festival of the Forks, its members & volunteers shall not be responsible for loss of or damage to any personal property. I understand that the deposit of my check constitutes acceptance in the show. I understand that failure to follow the guidelines and rules stated herein can mean immediate expulsion from the Festival of the Forks.
