A message from Mayor Victoria Garcia-Snyder

As our town prepares for the 1st major snowfall event, I am asking ALL members of the community to be mindful of the following:

  1. Please remember not to park your cars on the road overnight. Our road crew will be working around the clock to keep the roads plowed as best as possible.
  2. Please keep in mind that we have 55 miles of road within our city that our small crew has to cover, and the heavier travelled roads will need repeat plowing to assure access to folks that do not get to work from home but for also our first responders.
  3. If possible, clear sidewalks and driveways so that the mail carriers can get their job done in a timely manner.
  4. If it is not necessary to travel on Wednesday or Thursday, please stay at home. Utilize today to make sure you have what is needed to stay inside for a few days. The safety and wellbeing of our Citizens is a top priority for City Administration. I ask you all to watch out for your neighbors and assist when you can in removing snow!
