Albion College Students Raise Money for Albion Community Foundation and Donate Masks to the Community
During the months of March and April, the gentleman of the Albion College chapter of Delta Sigma Phi has been hard at work completing their studies, preparing for graduation, and supporting the Albion Community Foundation.

Delta Sigma Phi’s commitment to community and national philanthropic goals, the gentleman, launched an online challenge doing funny challenges to raise to support the Foundation. Ryan Bera, the student leading these efforts, said that he was “proud this great group of men could work so hard during these challenging times and still rise to the challenge of supporting our local campus and community.”

In addition to Delta Sigma Phi, the Student Volunteer Bureau, housed at the Ludington Center with group advisor Pamela Schuler, also contributed their time and talents to support the local community.

The Student Volunteer Bureau decorated reusable masks to be given away by local businesses and organizations to stop the spread of Covid-19. Schuler said, “It has been tough to find meaningful service projects for students during this academic year, but l am proud at how creative and community-focused our students have become to make sure they still give back to their college home.”

While the 2020-2021 academic year has been one of the toughest in modern history, Albion College students indeed have found many ways to contribute back to the community and continue to make the greater Albion area the fantastic place it is.
