December 9, 2019 Albion, MI (AMN) – Have you noticed more State and County law enforcement along I-94 over the past few weeks? Michigan State Police in cooperation with local and county law enforcement are finding increased drug trafficking activity during Calhoun and Kalamazoo County traffic stops. Officers found enough Fentanyl during a recent stop to make three million doses. Fentanyl is an extremely dangerous drug.
There will be additional patrols along the I-94 corridor for some time to come in order to monitor truckers and distracted drivers. Speeding and other violations have become a more common occurrence this year leading to more pullovers as troopers attempt to stem the dangerous behaviors.
